Blue Cabinet

An attic apartment in Lisbon — one wall, one colour.

Type: Apartment
Location · Year: Lisbon · 2026
Finish: Deep blue, semi-gloss
Built by: Forma Studio

Under the roof, in deep blue.

A built-in that follows the attic: shelves, drawers and a central display niche made as one piece, shaped to the slope of the roof and the bay. Everything is sprayed deep blue in semi-gloss — a finish few workshops take on, because every flaw shows. In the same apartment we built the kitchen and two bathroom vanities, with tight radii, curved fronts and two-colour paint.

What we made

01Built-in cabinet. Shelves, drawers and a display niche as one piece, shaped to the roof slope.
02Kitchen. Built to match the cabinet.
03Bathroom vanities. Two units with tight radii, curved fronts and two-colour paint.

Look closer.

Semi-gloss shows every joint and every brush of dust. That is why it is rare on joinery — and why we sprayed it here.
